Odin’s Innovations® Developed Tools for the Bear and Feral Pig Hunter

Odin’s Innovations maintains an active “listening channel” from our Dealers and our Customers. We were asked if we could develop scents for bear hunting and feral pig that would offer the same long-lasting attributes as our other scents.

“We have developed effective manufacturing processes and a family of available scents,” said Paul Black of Odin’s Innovations. “What can we create to help hunters be more successful when hunting bear or pigs?”
“We needed to step back to identify those scents that would be attractive”, said Black. “but not alarm the prey.”

Odin’s innovations is always looking for that next “killer scent” (pun intended) that is unique, yet natural. This led Odin’s to add Blackstrap Molasses, New Berry and Vanilla as well as enhance our Peanut Butter and Vanilla scents. ”It is always interesting to listen to the feedback; scents for bear that work equally well for whitetail deer (Peanut Butter), scents that are not indigenous to an area, but yet very effective (Persimmon)”, commented Black. “And some that just ‘seem like’ they would work and they knock it out of the park (Pear for pigs).” This keeps Odin’s curious and creative.
